Recently our users created a vision of a functionality for our Boy Scout historical website. We put a challenge out to the programming community. Many programmers and programming teams reviewed our vision and requirements. Over and over we were told we are asking for the near impossible. Mark and his team was the only group to accept the challenge. It took several months of interaction between Mark’s team and ours but his team met the challenge and delivered a web solution that allows historians to view visual diagrams of the chronology of all the mergers, and name changes of four interrelated organizations through 115 years of history. The total number of organization names involved in the visual diagrams is greater than 10,000. Mark and his team were a great asset to our project. I am sure that Mark’s organization underestimated the effort and cost for the solution; however do to his integrity, he honored the original project estimate. Because the interaction with Mark’s team was excellent we rewarded Mark’s team a second project. See More
